 For the last two years, patriots from all across the country have become engaged in the political process for the sake of preserving liberty. While we have made some great strides, our work is far from finished.
Holding Congress accountable
Our country is at a financial crossroads. Yet, neither side of the political aisle is really taking the lead on putting the country back on the right track, which is why we must once again show them that the American people will not stand idly by as they recklessly spend away the future of our children.
Over the next few months, the political courage of those in Congress, particularly the Republicans, will be tested as they face decisions about the budget and spending cuts. Seeing their recent actions in passing mediocre spending reforms, we must remain steadfast in holding them accountable to their campaign promises to stop the out-of-control spending and restore fiscal sanity.
We must demand that Congress get serious about addressing our country’s fiscal crisis and making the deep, needed cuts to the budget.
Road to Repeal: Taking our message about Obamacare to DC
Recent decisions by the US Department of Health and Human Services, which have sent many religious institutions and citizens into an uproar, show precisely how government-run health care will work. It’s not about personal choices and freedom; it’s about politics and control, which is why we once again must bring the debate to the forefront and show Congress how ‘We the People’ refuse to sit idle while big government destroys our healthcare freedoms.
As you know, Obamacare is set to be heard by the US Supreme Court March 26-28. If the Supreme Court does not throw out this monstrosity, then the battle for our healthcare continues on into November and January.
